It might however be a decent idea to look into to see if I could use the friction plates from these transmissions and other internal parts.

As a street car, I still want to drive it. I know the torque I'll be putting out will destroy the diesel trans.. I just don't think the 722.6 for a diesel could handle anything over 400NM of torque for a long period of time.
