As a street car, I still want to drive it. I know the torque I'll be putting out will destroy the diesel trans.. I just don't think the 722.6 for a diesel could handle anything over 400NM of torque for a long period of time.

Any 722.6 from a V8 Mercedes will be able to handle anything that you throw at it.
