Do it from underneath the car. You'll need to first disconnect the shifter rods, speedo cable and the clutch slave cylinder hydraulic line.

Then you'll need to pull the driveshaft out of the way, which means unbolting it from the differential, center support and trans end by removing trans mount.

Once you got that out of the way, you can tip the trans down ward to have access to the bolts. There should be 10 bolts on the bell.
You can get to all the top bolts using extensions and swivels going over the trans from the tail end.

Once the bolts are out, you can pry the trans loose and pull it out. It might get hung up on the exhaust manifold. So watch out for that in installation as well.
