What a coincidence. Just received word that a classmate I knew from grade school (now 62 yrs. old) was taken off life-support earlier this morning. He met his fate from a head injury suffered by falling down drunk in a bar he had been inhabiting almost daily for many, many years. Hospital report said that he had consumed 22 - 25 oz. of alcohol in his bloodstream. He had been enduring a life living in his Mother's basement after both a failed marriage and failed practicing as a lawyer years before. I wish I'd of taken the year off to ski Utah and Colorado after high school graduation, rather than plow into college for several years of toil. The snowboarder died while doing something he loved I suspect. Too bad it ended this way though.
