This car has what appears to be factory a/c. The console is obviously factory and has the dual zone temp controls. (One temp "thermostat" wheel for each side of the car) Is it possible that the York compressor was used only on six-cylinder models? It does not appear to have been cobbled on to the engine. Anyway, I will tell him to have the leak fixed and charge it with R-12, which seems like the best bet.
