Smile Clutch fried; as tested...

Pulled the wires from the clutch and tested them, no short.

Henceforth, the clutch is fried.

Bought a new clutch and wiring loom (the old one was stiff and the insulation was cracking all over the place), and got a tech to do the job.

Total cost of job :

New Fan clutch - $65.00
New Wiring Loom - $15.00
Labour - $30.00

Short circuit in previous circuit did not short out any wires (tested today) but was due to the defective clutch itself.

Money well spent, now the running temp in stop-go traffic is around 83 deg C.

Well done. Any one for the books...
