Houston Area DIY Tech Session: Sat., March 7, 2015 (RSVP ASAP)

I know this is short notice, but I wanted to let you guys know about this event.

The Houston Section will have a Tech Session on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Barbara Jordan High School auto shop starting at 8am. Barbara Jordan High School is located in Northeast Houston at 5800 Eastex Freeway (Kelly St. and Eastex Freeway). This Tech Session will be the second Tech Session that we’ve had at Barbara Jordan High School, and will have something to appeal to novices and experts, from those who don’t know where the hood release handle is, to those who can rebuild an engine blindfolded. Attendees will have the opportunity to do some light wrenching on their cars, view demonstrations of maintenance/repairs, and the opportunity to have their vehicles checked out with diagnostic equipment. We will have four 2-post lifts, and two 4-post lifts (alignment rack and lube rack) at our disposal. Please remember to wear proper footwear (closed toe shoes), and bring your own tools, fluids, filters, parts, or whatever you may need to perform your maintenance/repairs. Eye protection will be provided. A BBQ lunch will be prepared and provided by the high school’s culinary arts department. The cost of admission is $15 per person and includes lunch. You can pay in advance using Paypal at Prepay and RSVP for MBCA Houston Section Events. Payment will also be accepted on the day of the event.

Please RSVP to Joseph Middleton at editorjoseph@gmail.com by Wednesday, March 4, 2015.

Schedule of Activities:
8:00am-8:30am: Arrival and registration
