If - as I believe - it's colder where you are than here in Michigan, your problem may be as simple as water getting into your car from the car wash and freezing portions of the latch mechanism inside the door with ice. Car washes spray the water with good force.

Have you taken the car for a good drive since then? Heating the interior may melt the problem ice. If you can't wait, you could spray some isopropyl alcohol to de-ice the mechnism. But you have to be lucky to hit the right spot.

If ice is your problem, and none of the above works, you may have to wait 'til May the way winter is this year..............
