You already posted that it is a Jap-Spec.

According to my information the car has the M117.985 NV engine (NV stands for low compression) which is pretty similar to the US engine. Can you check if there is a catalytic converters hangs under the car?

According to the Tabellenbuch the MJ 76 should have a japanese sign on the first crossmember.

The compression will be 8.0 : 1 which means, that you can run it with 86 ROZ.

I can give you the numbers for setting the ignition, if you need them.
