Take the belt off and spin the fan clutch / pulley, look for wobble. The fan clutch or the fan mount shaft can bend. Feel for any roughness, the bearings balls can brinell the races when then see a axial load. Lastly. look at belt alignment / mount housing. The bearing can be pressed into the housing / housing crack.

When you buy a hood, get the hinges also. With a front hit, the hinge can be bent and very difficult to tell where it is bent let alone getting it back into shape.
