This chart from gsxr's site will answer all your questions and blow a few misconceptions as well. Like the fact that the 400E front bar, despite it's different shape to clear the V8's oil pan, is actually no bigger than the standard 300E bar is. The 400E rear bar is bigger though. Too many people trying to get a 500E/E500 bar set and not enough of them floating around prevent them from being a very viable option.
