If you are correct about the size of your engine, then you have one of the later M103's which had the updated valve guides and seals. It was my understanding that in the '93 model year MBZ came out with a 3.2(M104) for the E class or maybe it was the E320. Anyway you've got one of the strongest engines that they made (according to most opinions). Just keep an eye on the oil consumption and change it frequently (the oil, that is ). I've got an '89 300E that will not quit. Best car I have ever owned.
