Thanks for the replies guys. See attached photo of the head of the bolt. Do the markings on it tell us whether it is a factory bolt? A 10 mm socket fits it. No aftermarket things it could have come from. Yes, there is a captive washer. I looked from above and didn't see any bolts like that or see any bolts missing. I'll check from the underside next time I have the covers off. The injector line clamps did cross my mind, but it's been several years since I've done anything with them. I should have noticed the bolt before, since the engine covers have been removed many times since I did that job. I did just recall that I had the hood repainted this past fall and I believe that the paint shop removed the headlights to do that job. Maybe it came from them?
