There was an article in a UK Motoring show about someone with "limited means" running a '73 Roller (which he payed £8K for) as an everyday car.
The general opinion was that it would cost significantly less overall than running a newish 3 series BMW (a car famous for it's low depreciation).
The prices you guys pay for servicing in the USA make my eyes water, there are loads of cheap specialists here that can keep a Roller running without breaking the bank.
