Sounds like my buddie is going to get it; I hope he does. From the sounds of it the A/C is the primary challenge and when I test drove it today it blew cold air, so maybe it is OK, but I will still have him check it out at a MBZ dealer. What specifically goes wrong with the system? Is it the evaporator that I have heard about or something else, and is it good to convert the system to R134? Thanks for your help.
