Always focused on being the peoples car, looks good, cheap to fix, easy to repair. Until you come to the US and pay import taxes on parts and "european skilled mechanic" labor at which point you are driving the ford of europe with the maintenance costs of a bmw.
Any company that sells you a car without a transmission dipstick because "the fluid is good for the life of the car" and then in the fine print says that the life of the car is defined as the life of the warranty, which is 4 years, should be considered HIGHLY SUSPECT.
