Thanks for the info, I am tempted to lose the AC system in mine as being in the UK its rarely used - I have set the climate control to 'EC' for economy to make sure that the AC clutch isn't on as it would sap some power from the engine.

I will have a think about what else I might do over on that side of the engine, although there is the intercooler pipework and inlet manifold so I don't know how much space it would free up.

I am just thinking about different ideas, might actually be interesting to run a compound turbo/supercharger setup with the stock turbo to see what happens!
