Yeah, I'm not sure I'll ever be able to find out what the dealer did or didn't do at 40k.

In the meantime, I stumbled upon what appears to a great local transmission shop...in business since 1973. Stopped by to ask a couple of questions, and before I knew the main tech was showing me all around the shop, showing me transmissions in various states of disassembly, helping me to see for myself how and where leaks occur. It was a good basic education for me.

So I'm on their schedule to get the leak addressed.
