You don't need to fool with the spring, so pretty simple and safe, assuming everything unbolts easy. Spray penetrant a few days before to help. Even quicker if you buy the whole control arm w/ bushings installed (not very expensive). I once changed the rubber bushings that attach the anti-sway bar, and that was easy. I have also removed the whole spindle to replace the lower ball joint (much harder) and recall ~1 day job (even longer w/o a good ball joint press).
