I just called my local MB dealer to try and order the '07 release of the repair manual on DVD (P-2700-140-07).
The guy quoted me $105 but then informed me that "There aren't any anywhere, even in Germany." I had previously tried to order it online, only to have my order cancelled with the note: "only available from your local dealer."

Unlike the other models from the 1990's, it seems that this one is not available online. So I guess there is now no W140 manual available (to the public) from MB.
The only ones on ebay are the '04 version which I understand is not nearly as good a reference as the '07. Does anyone here know how I might be able to get a copy of the newer one?
I had the other '95 diesel (with the 606,) and getting the W124 manual DVD was easy, so this is an unexpected problem for me. Any help would be appreciated.
