The Catalan masons have been famous for centuries for their ability to build vaults with no shoring. Antonio Gaudi used them back when he was practicing and before he became consumed with building the Sagrada Familia cathedral.

Their skill is truly breathtaking. He makes it look so easy.

It is always my great pleasure to observe skilled tradesmen in action.

When I was younger I learned from my father and worked on my personal projects until I am a pretty decent finish carpenter. I can plumb and do electrical if its not too difficult. Painting of course and can do drywall but don't because its too much hard work. I also have poured flat concrete but never laid any brick.
