My 126 third brake light fell apart when I needed to change the bulb. Wife and I went to the local Pull-A-Part and could not find one. They were all gone already. Wife calls to me and says, come look at this one. It was in a Volvo and looked like it may work. Got it and it has worked OK until I can find the correct one. I have not seen a 126 in my area Pull-A-Parts in over a year now.
Please don't flame me for using a Volvo part in a Mercedes. You do what you have to do.
