Hmm, my boost gauge at 28psi would not agree with you.
I love knowing what my car is doing, loved my BB Wanderlodges with 33 gauges in view of the driver, always knew how hard I could push it.
True that "idiot lights" and other indicators/protection are designed for ease of operation, but knowledge / information is so much better.
