A friend of mine worked for years writing romance novels. He wrote under the name of a woman, some a few million copies and made a good living at it.

He could knock out a book in about three or four days. Then he would take a month or two off and then write a few more. Then he would play golf or whatever else he wished. He even picked up a few awards, none of which had his real name on them.

But then one day his secret leaked out and that was that. He had to start all over with a new name and this time he kept his mouth shut about what he was working on.

You may not understand how this business works but the people who hire me do.

And to me that's what counts.
