Clean the fuel system, maybe with a bio-cide, and the glow plug update is a good idea.

The cable to the linkage atop the cam cover is your cruise control device.

Your vacuum connections need replacement.

If you haven't yet, replace the fuel jumper lines.

Thanks for the info. I will get the parts ordered and the bio-cide is on order, should be in by the end of the day or tomorrow morning.

I will get to work on the vacuum asap as well.

Jumper lines will also be replaced.

As for doing the valves, that is something I haven't done before by myself and I will probably take it to a shop or maybe a local can walk me through it, I am just very cautious with working on internals.

Is the whole pencil upgrade kit with push button worth it from Mercedes source? I have had a few people say some rather distasteful things about them and I was wondering if that was the general consensus.
