If it is still the same you need to eject all the fibre gear and mast and refit it .Its not getting to its fully open possition to switch off You must replace the right way per instructions .You need a friend to turn on the redio as you feed the mast in to the holder.It will stop automaticaly as it goes down inside the unit .I can find instruuctions if you need them that came with my new replacment mast .Also keep oil and grease from the mast .as it moves up and down it takes dirt and grit with it. A light rub with silicon cloth.I use a gun cleaning cloth ,just for mine.
