My advice: pull the turbocharger and see if you can get apart. After over 300,000 miles, mine was so full of carbon wasn't coming apart, even with a hammer. Since the useless one with the A.G.R., got one without and had it rebuilt since it too was fairly locked up and wasn't going to risk damage. Plan is rebuild on 100,000 mile T.B.O. so as not have that issue again. Hope this helps...
