Thank you very much for those links, that is GOLD for a guy troubleshooting the system or learning its theory.

I am really amazed how SLOW the car is off the line with a 2nd gear start. Of course, the most basics still need to be addressed like the tune of the motor.

I still have a bad solenoid so hoping that will at least give me a passing gear kick down when requested with the pedal.
