I have been towing Airstreams for 15 years and frequent the various forums on these. Several folks have tried the LC for towing going for Toyota reliability but we're disappointed with how well it towed.
That's what makes the GL350 such a good tow vehicle. Serious low end torque, Airmatic suspension adapts to what your load is (I use a ProPride hitch however).

Until the airbag pops like it has to just about everybody. Happened to my dad and his car was nearly new and babied. Another friend with an under 5 year old CPO car, and several failures with another friend who dared to take his over 100k before he totaled it out. I recall him testing the air ride on another GL he was looking at and it failed right on the dealer's lot.
It's a junk system.
