I'll throw in my 2 cents.

My bleeder comes with a special adapter that replaces the cap on the brake mater cyl. reservoir. I assume yours does as well and that it was properly snugged down and the hose properly connected to the adapter.

If you then pressurize the tank and see fluid coming out anywhere on the reservoir/master cyl., I'd say these parts need to be replaced. They should not leak.
