from the fwiw dept, I’ve got a major roof cleaning to do and read that the PH of cider vinegar will kill moss (the main goal) in fairly short order, and that mixing the vinegar with a mild solution of dish washing soap will help to kill moss and also help clean the roof. I’m going to try this and then use a soft rake to remove the moss after a week or so and see what the results are for the roof cleaning part. The vinnegar/soap solution is much easier on the environment and roof than some other remidies.

....that is, if it ever stop raining for more than part of a day.
