Here's an idea....

Get yourself a strip of plywood (3/4" thick, 3" wide and more than a foot in length) - put it between your jack stand teeth and the rocker panel, lengthwise to distribute the weight.

Just be careful to secure the emergency brake, throw the car in park and chock the wheels so the wood doesnt slip.
