Well, the 6.9 was no economy champ, but I did see around 141-142mph one time in it. Much smoother than any other MB I've driven at that speed. The Jensen would have needed to be filled up going that fast probably about 20 miles outside of Cincinnati! But in that car it'd be worth it, as it's one of my favorite GT cars of all time. Finally, to reply to the last post, I usually will not run my diesel that hard but wanted to see how well my new tires would fare during high-speed consistent running. Verdict was: Not as good as the previous Michelins did, but for being $20 cheaper each, they felt pretty darn good!
