I'm not too mech. inclinded to pull the interior apart to try and fix things. I'd love to find a wrecked '88 CE and pull the guts out for the passenger side. I dickered around with a guy here selling one from an '89 iirc some time ago but the part #'s were different. I wasn't willing to buy it unless discounted so I passed. I don't have much on the passenger side, including the retractor. SB kind of just hangs there.
Question to ask: Are all the CE presenters the same on the W124s regardless of different #s? Would an 89 or 90 or up fit and operate in an 88? (1988 was the first year of the US coupe).
