The same keys that work for V8s work on all MB motors (at least those with double row chains).

BUT!!! you can not make timing corrections based upon the marks on the cam stand. The mark on the cam is only good enough to decide which tooth to put the cam gear on. Eighteen degrees between teeth. Its accurate enough to make an 18 deg decision only. To make timing adjustments one must measure the valve openning with a dial indicator versus the crank gear timing marks.
