Ok guys, this is gonna be really hard for me but in order that the ol' Benz is vindicated, i must step up and admit what I discovered today [emoji58]

I can't remember for sure but I'm thinking it was Sat after Thanksgiving, I backed the car into the garage to take a look at the multi links in the rear to see what I was gonna need to order as far as parts. Before I raised it up I loosened the lugs on both wheels but started by taking the right side off to have a look. Well, after poking and prodding around a bit, I put the wheel back on and I think I remember going into the house (distraction) and when I returned to the car I simply lowered it back to the ground and rolled it to the street. Yep. I could have caused serious injury to my daughter and others but the good Lord was watching out!!

Wow, what a lesson, expensive too [emoji33]

EDIT: My wife reminded me that we were out of town on Sat after Thanksgiving so it HAD to have been the Sat BEFORE... So it had been driven quite a bit on roads where speeds were much higher than the place it broke! What an idiot I was doing that! [emoji35]
