This should be in a thread of it's own.

Brake fluid will swell rubber not designed for brake fluid exposure. Stop leak in a can contains brake fluid to do just that but I don't recommend it.

If you haven't run the engine, sop as much as you can out with a rag / suction and refill with plain PS fluid.

If you have run the engine, pull the return hose from the pump, cap off the pump side and put the steering gear side in a can. Stop the engine when the fluid slows / stops. Refill and do this again. Reattach the hose, refill, cycle steering to get air out, check fluid level.
