1975 280 SLC.
2 people to fit the new glass. Used the rubber that was actually still OK.
Quite a lot of rust under the rubber meaning we had to cut out and replace some sections of the flange.
The flange as original is not very smooth and I reckon from day one you will get water between the rubber and the metal.
This time fitting we coated it with sealer to at least give it a fighting chance.
I'll find some photos and post them.
The car is a total rebuild, back to bare metal and start again job.
The first thing noticed was the firewall falling apart. That started it a year ago and I thought it would be a months work.😨😨😨😨.
