' Kraft Durch Freude ' ~ there's a LOT of joy in driving a Mercedes 300TD ! .

More so when you're adventurous .

I'd hoped to bring my clean and tidy Grey Market 300TD to this event .

' Flat Towing ' normally means you get a rigid tow bar and bolt it to the towed vehicle like shown in the photos ~ it's critical to _always_ check the tranny fluid and final drive gear oil plus the tire pressures as having something let go or seize up when you're blowing and going far from home is always exciting and never any fun .

I to have flat towed many vehicles across America , take it easy and pay attention to the details, you should be fine as long as no black ice .
