I have a 1992 500SL and the alarm has recently begun to go off spontaneously. I will lock the car and roughly a minute later the alarm will go off.

I don't want to fool around with fixing it, I am just tired of having this happen. Where is the controller that you refer to and how do I disconnect it? Thanks,
