agree on the tires , Don't get overly concerned about "top quality" name brand tires , although you want to go new, most tires will serve you well for the mileage you are likely to put on that car . Keep your thread questions here, those that branch out loose the continuity of the journey. Once you get her on the road , you can go to more specific issues that may need a "new " thread. Sometimes we may suggest you do that as well. Since you are opening the brake system , it would be a great time to get rid of all that old brake fluid , clean the lines out and replace. Many forget the brake fluid needs renewed from time to time . You have to bleed the system so why not . You have bled brake systems - correct
