I know it's basic, but do check the cap and rotor. Mine sits too. After 5 years and only 6k miles at most, they are corroded. Unfortunately they are not cheap. Also check spark plug condition as they can be an indicator of an engine problem. The ignition system should be dialed before looking at the fuel system.
