I had some spare panels so I wanted the clips fixed/repaired/replaced before I did the painting.
The first two shots are of the prep work. I used a small grinder to remove the nubs and create a surface which the ABS cement would bond to.
A couple clips before I ground the excess plastic down.
One of the gauge stick I used to set the distance from the edge.
I won't be able to report the strength of the glue for a couple weeks. I still have to paint the panels and other vinyl trim before I install the panels.
