Will try to use a 240 to jump a DEAD '80 300 this afternoon...

Is this the right procedure?

Hook up positive to positive battery terminals, negative cable on donor car (running), negative cable on dead car to engine block or other "ground"...let glow plugs cycle once or twice...and then crank?
