OK it's time to get some sneakers for my 91 500SL. I'm going with the 245/40 R18 and was wondering what I should be looking at in the $150 to $200 range. My local tire shop suggests Toyo very much, at a very nice price. I currently have Kumho, the tire shop does not like that brand very much and is trying to steer me away.

Personally I would like to go with a Yokohama or Pirelli tire. He showed me the Yokohama Parada, very nice tire but not in my size, sigh.

Whats the vote on here from you guys for a high performance 245/40 R18 tire, but the most comfortable one I can find, my current Kumho's are very very uncomfortable. A cool looking tire like the Parada wouldnt hurt either.
