8bender, I know nothing about Rotella T6. Perhaps you can do a "search" online and determine the benefits of using it. Unless the engine in your 1986 560SEC has recently been rebuilt, it probably doesn't make too much difference what oil you use, provided it is a high quality oil and is changed on a routine basis.
