Very good tips. I took the car for a short drive today to track the temperature behavior and I'm thinking the thermostat is stuck halfway between open and closed. It took forever to reach operating temperature (we're talking 15 minutes of driving before it got above 80C), held, fluctuated a bit, coasted up and down, speed, driving style, etc had no affect on temperature, it just did what it was gonna do. Parked until the parts come in next week sometime.
