Jake, Last time I looked, which has been a while it could be had for about $15 a pound. The cars requiring it are fewer and fewer, hitting the wrecking yards all the time. That matters not though. I have about fifty pounds of it on hand. Going back to R12 will improve the cooling capacity by about 15% and we are in Texas where we need all the cooling capacity we can get.
