How can this be worked out? The tool is valued at over 550$ at this point. I am in a conundrum. The renter has to trust me by giving me the deposit. Unfortunately it is so high that very few are willing to go the that route. The same is true for the me, who owns the tool. If i loose the tool and dont have full value as a deposit then I am out. Does anyone wish to pickup and borrow in town here? That is fine. I still want the deposit if it leaves my driveway. I do trust, as well, I need to be sure.
I am considering selling the tool after another bit of work on the 300d . Also I may try and barter it with an indy local to me for some work on the SL.
