5.drain rear end replace fluid.
6. Drain transmission replace fluid and filter.
7. no oil leaks anywhere go to synthetic. it will still use a quart every 5000 miles
8 Take the antenna to a GOOD radio shop and have them replace it I spent a whole day on this trying to align it and get it to fit properly. The second time I went to a shop replaced it while I waited
9 Dont forget the monovalve if you have one replace it. Not sure on your car
10FIND A MECHANIC OUTSIDE DEALERSHIPS A GOOD ONE WHO IS LESS EXPENSIVE BUT KNOWS THE CARS.
TRY THIS GO TO A DIFFERENT MECHANIC FOR EACH FLUID CHANGE. PAY THE PRICE AND TALK TO THE GUY IF HE IS EXPENSIVE DROSS HIM OFF YOUR LIST YOU WILL FIND ONE THIS WAY
I just sold my car on /eBay to a Parts Guy in Amsterdam I found I could lease a car for what I was paying in parts and repairs.Drop it off every 3 years. I cried when it left my ysrd seriously Loved that Mercedes.
Gosh, I'm sorry for your loss but thank you very much Tom! I just need to replace the rubber parts that allow it to go through the body. It works fine but that black housing is shot and there is a gap so I want to keep it from getting water inside when it rains again.

As for mechanic/shop I drive from Ventura to Tarzana at Mr MB. I found him through this list over 10 years ago. He moved to Spain a couple years ago but the guy, Vic, who took it over is spot as well and the same mechanics are still there. I'll probably let them do it at this point as I finally get a weekend to take it in for their inspection. I'll go over this list with them and pick the stuff I can do myself but it's probably just the hoses since I don't have the necessary hoist, jacks, tools et...to get it up off the ground.

I really appreciate the reply Tom! I hope you got something nice to replace your 560!
