I adjusted the small vertical rod at throttle linkage at the fire wall/back of engine. I heard the ETA click before but by closer inspection there was still a tiny gap between lever and end stop.
So I slackened the rod a bit and voila ... idle dropped from 1000 to 700... case is solved. ETA lever needs to touch the end stop and idle!
